High Voltage Operations & Maintenance
Why we started 3R
Red Rapid Response (3R) is a specialist high voltage contractor based in Esbjerg, Denmark, founded in 2022 by engineers who had worked together offshore.
Time and again we saw the same problem. When a cable, joint or termination failed, getting qualified people to site took far too long, and assets sat idle while operators waited. We started 3R to close that gap.
Today our certified Authorised Engineers work across onshore and offshore HV systems throughout Europe, five minutes from the CTV Quay at Nordsøkaj, with safety and efficiency at the heart of everything we do.
40+ years in offshore and onshore cable systems: design, production, project management, client representation, cable installation and HDD.
30 years in electrical and high voltage engineering, specialising in HV cable faults: locating, diagnosing and repairing failed cables, joints and terminations.
Our aim
To be the team operators call when an HV asset fails: authorised engineers on site fast, with clear answers the same day.
Our goal
One supplier for testing, jointing, maintenance and resourcing, delivered safely and to a high standard on every job.
Looking ahead
To grow across Europe, build long-term O&M partnerships, expand our own team and test equipment, and set up a base in southern Europe.
Our solutions
A complete high voltage capability under one roof, from emergency fault response to fully managed installation projects.

When an HV asset fails, we’re already moving.
Getting qualified, authorised people to site takes far too long, and assets sit idle while operators wait. We close that gap, with engineers typically on site within 24 hours and a same-day preliminary report.
HV cable works offshoreOne supplier, start to finish
What sets 3R apart is the breadth to cover the whole lifecycle of an HV asset, and the speed to get there when it matters.
- Safety first: task-specific RAMS, approved safe methods of work and a point-of-work check before every task.
- Certified expertise: Authorised Engineers with deep onshore and offshore experience across Europe.
- Speed you can count on: engineers on site within 24 hours, with proactive maintenance that prevents downtime.
Authorised technicians, ready to deploy
Need qualified technicians fast? We supply authorised WTG and HV technicians to strengthen your team, onshore and offshore, typically on site within 24 hours of your call.
- Fully authorised: technicians authorised by the major turbine OEMs, ready to carry out HV works in their own right.
- No escort needed: because our technicians are authorised, sites do not normally need to provide their own authorised escort for HV works.
- Flexible engagement: short-term cover, planned campaigns or longer-term placements, onshore and offshore.

Safety first, always
Safety is the keystone of our operations. With a background in oil, gas and renewables, we work to one ambition on every site, backed by a 24/7 call-out and engineers typically on site within 24 hours.
From call-out to full report
Every deployment follows six clear steps, from your first call to the full final report, with all reports and pictures shared as we go.
Quick response & deployment
Once contacted, we mobilise engineers to site, aiming for arrival within 24 hours.
Full asset investigation
On arrival, our engineers carry out a thorough investigation of the asset.
Same-day preliminary report
An initial report with diagnostics and recommended remedial actions, issued the same day as the visit.
Remedial actions
Clear, actionable steps to bring the asset back online, based on our findings.
Client exchange folder
A shared folder from the start, giving you access to all reports, pictures and documents.
Stock & full report
We hold stock for most termination failures and issue a full report on completion, with recommendations.
